Cosmetic tattooing, also known as permanent makeup or micropigmentation, is a procedure that enhances facial features by implanting pigment into the skin using a tattoo needle. It is commonly used for lip blushing, ombre powder brows, and other semi-permanent enhancements.

Results typically last between 1-3 years, depending on skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. Annual touch-ups are recommended to maintain vibrancy.

A topical numbing agent is applied before and during the procedure to minimize discomfort. Most clients report feeling little to no pain.

Initial healing takes about 7-14 days, but full healing (color settling) may take up to 6 weeks.

The treated area may appear darker and slightly swollen for a few days. As healing progresses, the pigment will lighten and soften.

If you have previous work done, a consultation is required to assess whether a correction or removal is needed before new pigment can be applied.

You may not be a candidate if you:
• Are pregnant or nursing
• Have certain skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis) in the treatment area
• Are prone to keloids or have blood disorders
• Are currently on Accutane or other strong medications
Have uncontrolled diabetes or blood pressure, epilepsy or other health conditions.

•  Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood-thinning medications 24 hours before treatment.
•   Do not use retinol or exfoliating treatments on the area at least one week prior.
•   Arrive with clean skin, free of makeup.

•   Keep the area dry and avoid excessive moisture for the first few days.
•   Apply the recommended healing balm as directed.
•   Avoid picking, scratching, or exfoliating the treated area.
•   Avoid direct sun exposure, swimming, and intense workouts during healing.

A touch-up is recommended 6-8 weeks after the initial session to perfect the shape and color.
